In case you didn't know, SchoolsworkUK is a project belonging to Youthscape. Youthscape is a youth work organisation passionate about seeing transformation in the lives of all young people. We develop innovative, proven ways to address the key contemporary issues that they face and especially those involving their social, emotional and spiritual health. Our team are based in Luton, Bedfordshire, where we pioneer work with young people in schools, churches and the local community. We then share what works nationally through our training, consultancy and resources - and inspire and equip churches to transform the lives of young people in their communities. Our nationally recognised projects include SchoolsworkUK, SelfharmUK, Romance Academy and The National Youth Ministry Weekend. 

Our team is recruiting for a Christian Schools Work Specialist who will work as part of the local team in schools across Luton, whilst also managing this website and helping to create national schools work resources.

The Christian Schools Work Specialist is an integral part of Youthscape. They will be key in developing Youthscape’s thinking and approach to Christian schools work and disseminating this nationally, while being rooted in Luton secondary schools with the Local Team. Youthscape needs a creative individual, who can recognise opportunities and deliver high quality input for young people exploring the Christian story in new and exciting ways, within the curriculum and around it. The Christian Schools Work Specialist needs to be experienced in delivering Christian Schools work, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a good communicator.
