What are you running from?

In May’s Youthwork Magazine, the featured assembly is called ‘What are you running from?’. The assembly raises questions for students to reflect on, the main two being “what are you running from?”, and ending with “what would happen if you were to turn around?”. Here is the video and a list of questions to accompany the assembly.

Great assembly!!
We used it twice this week with different year groups (year 7 & year 9) in one of the local schools we go into. We used ‘The Runaway’ story from What’s so Amazing about Grace - and indeed you could hear a pin drop as it was read out (one of our team who read the story got a round of applause each time too!).
I was initially worried that the 4-5 minute reading of the story would be too long for attention spans but it wasn’t! The video reflection was very powerful and its definitely worth having those questions coming up whilst its being played. Really appreciate these resources, thanks guys.

This looks absolutely brilliant - I would love to use it but unfortunately, I am stuck on the technical side - what is the best way to customise with the questions suggested.  Any help and advise would be appreciated.

Hi Debbie, be glad to help and advise you in any way I can. Quick question, is your assembly this week, or would it be ok to wait and have a conversation at the start of next week about this? I’m away with my team from tomorrow for a couple of days. Feel free to email me on .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
