Schoolswork Conference in London

I went to the last STREAM conference and had a great time meeting some people who I’ve been connecting with on this site and lots more! Really recommend getting to gatherings like these. They are a fantastic opportunity to be encouraged, inspired and challenged and often open up new areas of ministry opportunities or explore new areas of thinking.

This time the topic is ‘Christian ministry in a multi-faith society.’ Keynote speakers are Rev Nims Obunge (Pastor, Freedoms Ark Church and Chief Executive of the Peace Alliance) and Dr Andrew Smith (Leader of Youth Encounter for Scripture Union, based in Birmingham).

STREAM conferences are organised by a group of schools workers drawn from Barnabas Trust, CRIBS, London City Mission, Scripture Union, Spinnaker Trust and Sutton Schools Christian Workers Trust. Others are welcome to join this group. The next STREAM conference is being planned for Friday 22 May 2009.
