Seven sessions including Wake Up and Smell the Concrete, Superstar, Something for Nothing and Truth or Dare. They take young people on a journey through thinking about why they should even bother spending time discussing spiritual issues, helping them wrestle with the image of church, the person of Jesus and space to explore if it’s relevant for them. A good introduction to the Christian faith.

My opinion: It’s not cheap at $99, but on the other hand you get quite a bit for your money, so it’s worth it if you’re looking for an Alpha-style introduction to Christianity with a bit more edge. It was done a few years ago however, so be prepared for a bit of the cheese factor, but there is definitely still mileage for this resource. If you’re not sure whether it will suit your young people, read more on the site and also get in touch with people who have used it in their own settings. I can put you in touch with youth workers here in the UK who’ve found it useful as well as someone who’s just finished using it in his local secondary school.
For $99 USD, you get:
-All 7 QUEST Sessions on DVD (incl. scene selections)
-QUEST Training Video (2 sessions) more
-4 promotional videos
-6 session previews (full screen version included)
-Bloopers and Deleted Scenes
-Bonus Resources CD-ROM: leader & student handouts, Media shoutable samplers, quest logos
-Community email: free video resources, news, special offers.
The same people have also produced a series called Deep Shorts which are ‘short’ video prompters for discussion of relevant life & spiritual issues (I haven’t seen any of this resource, so not necessarily recommending it, but it looks interesting and worth a look).
