Making classroom resources

The cards could be used for all kinds of classroom activities:

Photos of local churches to talk about places of worship: you could take the photos yourself and give a much more up to date image of what Christian churches look like in the area. Optical illusions for a game about believing what you see: the cards can be handed out to groups and then swapped around as needed. Photos of people for group activities (like a prejudice challenge looking at the assumptions students make about a person from the way they look).

The useful thing about using your own set of postcards like this is not only that they’re more relevant to what you’re doing, but also that they’ll last and be able to be used again and again. If anyone has any other ideas of how you could use 20 postcards within RE or another schools context, feel free to add your comment.
