Hi, does anyone know where I can get an up to date DVD clip, (from internet, or elsewhere), of a very modern church service, to contrast with the Mr Bean clip of a very traditional church service?
Thank you!

i am sure hillsongy type churches will have loads of stuff around mate. But in my experience ‘showing church services’ is tough and something I dont often do. Why not try reinhard bonke as he has clips of million people meetings in Africa - much more helpful than songs of praise methinks - Shabba :)

what about showing a clip of a church in second life (http://www.secondlife.com)?  i don’t even know if they do video clips, but if they did it would be a big contrast to a traditional service.

What about challenging the idea of what Church is - breaking the stereotype of Church being confined to a building. Hope 08 stuff would be good to see church in action.

I’d be tempted to go for pictures of a church service rather than a video, just because it can look slicker and you can hold each slide for as long as needed to talk about it. Just a thought.

I have an re lesson planned that I start with the famous Mr Bean clip and then compares with other styles of contemporary worship from youtube. You are welcome to the lesson plan and power point if you leave me your email address. Maybe a bit late now, but for future use?
