I am a worker in Scotland developing schoolswork across the south of Scotland.  I stumbled across a wonderful tool that can help you measure the effectiveness of your schoolswork and ministry.  It links aims, outcomes and impacts.  If we are to develop sustainable ministry that impacts young people forever, and I believe this is the way forward, then the work needs to not be designed around you but rather the desired outcomes.  Follow this link for Evaluation Scotland and also take a look at the Weaver’s Triangle.

just wanted to heartily recommend this to anyone reviewing / creating / ripping-up-and-rewriting their strategy, aims, etc. a wealth of material, loads of free downloadable guides and all of it useful. it will take me an age to read it all, but as we’re at the rip-up-and-rewrite stage this has been fantastically helpful.

also wanted to recommend the schoolswork.co.uk guide to strategy which you can find on the ‘i need to..’ section of this website. concise and very helpful as a starting point.

thanks surferrich for the links!
