Film for Christmas

Here at LiNX we’ve been putting together a video as part of our Christmas activities to get the young people to engage with the subject of Christmas and it’s true meaning.

The video is a mix of clips from the latest John Lewis advert and the 2006 film “The Nativity Story” to the sound track of “Your Song” by Ellie Goulding. You can access the song through Spotify or iTunes and play while you watch the clip below, or try accessing the video directly through the LiNX website below.

Hopefully this might be useful to others so it’s been uploaded on to the LiNX website in both wmv and mp4 formats.

Matt, thank you so much for this, it is brilliantly done! Very powerful to watch this with the fantastic version of ‘Your Song’ by Ellie Goulding. Sorry we couldn’t get the music and visuals to work here, but will have another go tomorrow at downloading it from your site when I get another chance.

Hope your Christmas activities are going well in Torbay and that you are getting a great response from students.

Thanks for posting this, we’re using it tonight at our youth service as we’re looking at the parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price, and this fits in well.

Hey if it helps i’ve had a quick revamp of the LiNX website and have sorted out our resources pages so the WMV file is available for download from a link there.  Hopefully i’ll sort out the Christmas gremlims and get the mp4 version up as soon as possible.

The page is http://www.linxyouth.net/resources

Hope that helps
Matt
