Who are we?

In its broadest, schoolswork.co.uk is about every Christian who works in and visits schools across the UK, passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people.

The site currently has a membership of 3,800. A member is someone who has registered on the website and appears on our Member Map.

Team

The project is run by a few schools workers who know all about the challenge of captivating a hall full of teenagers for 10 minutes at the start of the day and engaging a bunch of disillusioned year 9s on a Friday afternoon in R.E. Here’s a bit about us:

Amy Stock started working in schools in 2002 and stumbled upon the idea of Christian schools work by doing it without realising! She has since spent the last seven years working in schools as a Christian visitor loving the challenges and opportunities that come with that. Amy is director of schoolswork.co.uk and when she’s not writing resources or taking assemblies can be found drinking coffee in staffrooms in Luton schools.

Trish Pinner
is the newest member of the team and works with schoolswork.co.uk one day a week to help keep up with the high demand in administration. She’s only been with us a number of weeks and has already brought calm, order and tranquility to the green and orange world that is schoolswork.co.uk!

Chris Curtis
was the pioneer behind schoolswork.co.uk and helps oversee the day to day running of the project. Chris has been working with young people over the last two decades through work in schools and directs the Luton Churches Education Trust which has been supporting local schools for over 18 years.
