Staff Teams

schoolswork.co.uk is growing!  Since its launch in November 2007 we’ve had over half a million visitors to the site and over two thousand members sign up and regularly use the online resources.  We’re developing an accredited schools work qualification, new training events and producing new resources for use in the schools.

That’s exciting, but it also gives us a challenge. If this project is to grow and continue to serve Christian schools work around the UK, we need to expand the dedicated and passionate team who make it all happen…

... so, is this where you get involved?

Perhaps you’ve been aware of schoolswork.co.uk for some time, used a few of the resources, have a pack of playing cards somewhere in the office and are keen to see it grow. How about now becoming part of the team taking schoolswork.co.uk forward?

Starting this year, we’re launching a new way for you to become involved in the project. Two volunteer teams will help us develop our creative materials and events. Being part of a team means you get to contribute something nationally while you continue to work wherever you are right now. You’ll connect with the rest of the team by email and meet together for regular meet-ups. We’ll make sure it won’t interfere with your current work… in fact, it should enhance and help what you’re doing!

Creative team

Whether you have a passion for planning assemblies, writing stories or delivering the most exciting and creative lunchtime clubs, we need your skills. We are looking for 15 people to join the schoolswork.co.uk creative staff team who will be able to see their work on the schoolswork.co.uk website, in Youthwork Magazine and beyond. Your ideas could be used by thousands of Christians in schools up and down the UK!

You will be invited to Creative Planning Days at the schoolswork.co.uk HQ in Bedfordshire, meeting up with the rest of the team for a day of dreaming and scheming, sharing your best ideas, drinking plenty of coffee and more.

Being a part of the schoolswork.co.uk creative team not only entitles you to have your work published, but you will also receive the schoolswork.co.uk staff card entitling you to all kinds of goodies.

Events team

Seen schoolswork.co.uk at conferences or events? Here is your opportunity not only to wear your very own ultra cool schoolswork.co.uk hoodie, but also to chat to hundreds of people who have an interest in schools work, hear their stories, share your passion for what you do, and be able to talk about the different ways that they can be a part of this story of seeing more, better and different schools work in schools across the UK.

You’ll be invited to join the schoolswork.co.uk team in running our annual schools work conference in September, as well as helping promote the project at conferences and other events near you.

You’ll also have a chance to meet up with the rest of the event team at the schoolswork.co.uk HQ in Bedfordshire, to help plan how the project can continue to grow and develop.

Being a part of the schoolswork.co.uk events team not gives you the chance to get involved in running events, but you will also receive the schoolswork.co.uk staff card entitling you to all kinds of goodies.
